Reverend Eric W. Carr Jr. (AKA Pastor “E”) is an ordained Elder of the United Methodist Church in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference currently serving on the pastoral team at St. Daniels, Chester.

Pastor Carr is called to a life dedicated to ministry spreading a message of Hope, Reconciliation, and Restoration to all persons whom God sends across his path. He has been active with various church ministries and has been in many leadership roles throughout his life including Minister of Music, Music Director, Director of Worship Ministries, Christian Education, Youth/Young Adult ministry leader, Head of Security Operations, and has served as a board member on several Eastern PA conference committees within the United Methodist Church.

Pastor Carr holds a Master of Divinity degree from Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Management from Peirce College, and a Certificate of Completion from Molding Disciples Institute of Biblical Studies. He is a chaplain with the Philadelphia Police Department’s 18 th District Chaplain Unit, volunteers as a chaplain at Nemours A.I.duPont hospital for children in Wilmington, DE, and is a Chaplain in the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary (Civil Air Patrol). Pastor Carr has a passion for worship, music, and seeing God’s people prosper, living into their destiny. Pastor Carr’s heart-felt statement is “only what you do for Christ will last”, and his anchor scripture has been Proverbs 3:5-6 “trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He SHALL direct thy paths.”
